Fall Leaves At Mt. Taisenzan

Fall leaves found at the top of Mt. Taisenzan (大船山:1786m, the range of the Kuju Mountains, Taketa city, Oita pref.) are beautiful. Vivid red and orange leaves are reflected on the surface of a crater lake called Oike, and these take the climbers to a mystic and beautiful world. From the end of May to mid June, Rhododendron kiusianum at Mt. Taisenzan bloom and you can see the magnificent pink color covering the mountain like a carpet.
