Taiwanese Blogger Umie Experiences

Semboku city in Akita prefecture in the Tohoku region, has many famous sightseeing spots, such as Japan’s deepest caldera lake, Lake Tazawa, the little known Nyuto Onsen hot spring, the Kakunodate samurai residence, and other such exciting spots. And, with the Akita shinkansen stopping at nearby Kakunodate Station, Tazawako Station is easily reached by many visitors that come here to enjoy the seasonal landscapes of this city.
Here you can not only experience life on a farm in an area blessed with lush natural landscapes, but also take part in trekking, canoeing, skiing, and numerous other fun seasonal activities too.
There are many farm-guest houses in the city, and one of the charms of staying here is the comfortable, at home atmosphere that the farm owners all strive to provide for their guests.

This time, we take a look at the farm stay and sightseeing experiences in Semboku had by the popular Taiwanese blogger, Umie. This report features her trip to Semboku with her husband – they just got married in 2016.
